Hide Files and Folders in Android Devices

So, you want to hide files and folders in Android devices, right? What did you search to get to this blog post or did you just hover around BinitTech for new posts? Anyway, let's start today's discussion. As I told in the above sentences, today, I will help you to know how you can hide files and folders in Android devices.

If you want to hide your videos, photos or any other confidential files in your Android Devices, so that it does not display your photos and videos in gallery and video player, then follow these steps:

Step 1: Install a file manager in your android phone, Go to Android market (Google Play Store recommended) and search for file manager and install any one of them. If you have a file manager already, you shouldn't install another.

Step 2: Open the file manager and go to the folder which you want to hide. (If you want to hide certain specific files, then put them in a folder).

Step 3: Rename the folder by typing "." before the folder name. Example: If you want to hide the "videos" folder, then rename the folder to ".videos" or something starting with "." (without quotes).

Step 4: You are done, Android gallery and video player won't recognize that folder anymore. If you want to unhide it, then rename the folder and remove the "." (dot).
